Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement. by Yves Dupont
Why Catholic Prophesy is of tantamount importance?
You can see from this wikipedia map that the Catholic faith has been preached all over the world.
Matthew 14;14. Jesus prophesies: “And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come.”
With so many people in so many countries all over the world the Catholic message is easily carried to one and all. Everyone should be preparing for what is coming. Because the Chastisement is definitely coming – no amount of tined food and stored toilet paper will successfully carry us through. We need to be “storing up our treasure in heaven” instead.
Jesus told us to watch for the sign of the end times.
Yves Dupont shows us that Catholic Prophecy is already coming to fruition. This important fact is the cornerstone which gives authenticity to other prophecies. The author desires to use Prophecy to warn of a coming Chastisement on the entire world. He begins with the words of Our Blessed Lord Himself, he then goes on to document many of the prophecies given by saints and mystics through the years. Included also are the most recent warnings of Our Blessed Lady at Fatima. Nowhere is there a better book written on Catholic Prophesy because Dupont gathers all the prophecies together and weaves them into a clear picture of our terrible future in the coming chastisement.
If you are starting out on your quest to discover our future as Catholics, Dupont has gathered all the information you need in this one book. If on the other hand you are somewhat of an expert on Catholic Prophecy the “Coming Chastisement”, is an easy to access “encyclopaedia” of information.
The need and use of prophesy is part of our Catholic heritage. St Paul:
“Aim at charity strive after the spiritual gifts but especially that of prophecy. He who prophesies speaks to men for edification and encouragement and consolation. Now I should like you all to speak in tongues but still more to prophecy . For he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in tongues.” (1Cor.14:1,2,35)
I myself have always contended that God views the world through the prism of His Catholic Church and so we see that prophecy is always about the church and her people. For instance:
“I saw that many pastors allowed themselves to be taken up with ideas that were dangerous to the church. They were building a great strange and extravagant church, everyone was to be admitted in it in order to be united and have equal rights. Evangelical Catholics sects of every description such was to be the New church. But God had other designs. April 22, 1823. Ann Katherine Emerich.”
The Chastisement or Punishment from God has been prophesied by many Catholic saints. Here Dupont quotes Bl Anna Maria Taigi.
“God will send two punishments one will be in the form of wars revolution and the shall originate on earth the other will be sent from heaven there shall come over the whole earth an intense darkness lasting 3 days and 3 nights. He who guided by curiosity opens his window to look out or leaves his home will die on the spot. During these three days people should remain in their homes pray the rosary and pray God for mercy.”
I love this book because it stops me wandering around the internet and ending up goodness knows where. I can trust that each of the prophesies sited in the book are true to the original. I see now with horror how many youtube videos are being made by non-catholics misusing Catholic prophesy for their own ends. Dupont’s book, clear and concise keeps the subject clearly in focus.
I recommend this book to all Catholics.
